"One-over-the-other" hill greenskin 1

I apologise in the first place for the bad pics. If time allows, I will replace them with some better ones. I just feel urged to add a couple of my own creations into this blog. Just to be clear: my place is invaded and my head is raided!

I consider the Games Workshop greenskins to be too fit and muscled. Apart from some bosses, you see no bellies exposed, no hunchbackeds, no lames, no blinds, no maimeds. This simply does not match with the basic idea of a colourful, variegated and violent army, such as the greenskins, who differ in size, equipment and clothes, but not in agressivity and recklessly rush onto the heat of a fight.

The composition is pretty intuitive here: a bigger one is carrying or trying to get rid of a smaller, silly one. The "one-over-the-other" idea came pretty late and the pieces just seemed to combine well, but it was not meant like this from the start. Improvisation... greenish inspiration... MGork whispering at my ears...

The big guy seems wearing some furry skirt or apron. Not only a trick to cover the front part, as I really intended to have such an effect on the body. Legs are too small compared to the the torso, though. Especially considering the late addition of the snotling.

This is my first "release" of a series of hill greenskins, who will unfortunately stay aside still for quite a while for the benefit of some other works.

Snotling war machines 3

Please, everyone listen up! I found here an outstanding collection of custom snotling war machines. Let me know if you like them!

Simple and efficient. Many spare parts from original boxes and some imagination. I like the 3 wheels and the mask on the front. Really orquish!

Here the traditional snotling wagon frmo Citadel merged with bits of the orc chariot. It makes a lot of sense to me and well keeps the warhammer flavour.

Again, very simple and only with a few hand-made additions. Snotlings make the most with their dynamic poses.

And finally this huge masterpiece: brilliant idea and brilliant making. The painting is perfect and the half-falling pose guarantees an effect of speed and greed for killing (although most of the deads would rather be the snotlings on its top).

Snotling heavy machines 2

Although personally not a big fan of snotlings' machineries, I feel mandatory sharing with you this pic, as it could bear many good hints to all of us.

Go on Google and spell it "snotling custom". Here you go

I confess it: I will just copy them immediately, although I avoid it. They are just P-E-R-F-E-C-T! Mork is so proud of them....

Out of Production metal snotlings

Again, with the same spirit of the previous post, and again thanks to a merciful E-bay user, here a huge set of metal snotlings. These minions are not on sale any longer, but still could represent a valuable asset for your armies. And especially for you customizations... look at their poses and see how you can combine them!

A new jerk in town

Took a day off to obey this call from the twin greens. Easy custom from the fanatics set. Still with some tricks you will not guess! (awful painting as usual).
